Is Kool on the App Store and Google Play?
Kool is rolling out on both now. Tap Get the app, or scan the code in the menu, and the same link takes you to the listing for the phone you are holding the moment it goes live where you are.
Is it the same account on an iPhone and an Android?
One account, everywhere. Sign in on either and your conversations, your contacts and your name are exactly as you left them. nothing to move across, nothing to set up twice.
Do Kool calls ring like normal phone calls?
On an iPhone it is a real call. Your phone wakes up and shows the full-screen incoming call you already know, on the lock screen, with your ringtone. Messaging is where the Android app begins, completely in step with everyone on iPhone and the web, and calls and meetings are what we are bringing to Android next.
Will message alerts actually arrive?
Yes, on both. Each phone is served by the delivery service it already trusts, so a message reaches you the moment it is sent without the app having to fight your phone to stay awake in the background.
Will Kool respect my Focus and notification settings?
Completely. Alerts arrive gathered by conversation, follow whatever you have set chat by chat inside Kool, and then defer to your phone's own quiet hours and delivery schedules like a well-raised app should.
Will it drain my battery?
It should not. Kool carries no advertising machinery and no trackers, so there is far less running in the background than you might be used to. the app wakes for the things that matter to you and otherwise stays out of the way.
