Which tablets is Kool built for?
The iPad today. Kool is one universal app: the same download installs on your phone and your iPad, signs in to the same account, and costs the same nothing on each.
Does it fill the whole iPad screen?
Yes. Kool runs as a real iPad app with its own icon on the Home Screen, using the whole display. Not the small scaled phone window in the middle of the screen that a phone-only app is stuck with.
Can I use Kool in Split View or Stage Manager?
Not yet. Kool runs full screen on iPad today, and sharing the screen with another app is work we have planned rather than something we are claiming now. We would rather tell you that than have you find it out.
Does it work in landscape?
Portrait for now, either way up. Landscape arrives with the wider layouts it needs. turning the iPad sideways today would only stretch a layout drawn for a taller screen, which is the thing this app is meant not to do.
What about an Android tablet?
Kool runs, and everything works, but you get the phone layout on a bigger screen rather than a layout drawn for it. A proper Android tablet build is honest future work, not something we are claiming today.
Do calls and meetings work on the iPad?
They do. It is the same app and the same account, so your conversations, calls, meetings and mailbox are all there, on a screen you can prop up and look at properly.
