Kool is committed to being usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is part of how we design and build, not an afterthought.

Our standard

We aim to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA and to follow Apple's accessibility guidelines on iOS. All UI is built to work in both light and dark modes using accessible colour tokens.

  • Light and dark mode with attention to colour contrast.
  • Dynamic Type / larger text and scalable layouts.
  • VoiceOver / screen-reader labelling on interactive controls.
  • Not relying on colour alone; clear focus states; adequate touch targets.
  • Reduced-motion friendliness; toggleable haptics.

Known limitations

Some user-generated content may lack alternative text, and real-time surfaces (live, calls) are inherently dynamic. We're continually improving.
